Click on the links to see what everyone received...you're gonna be so jealous and wish you had joined the fun after you take a look at all the lovely Halloween and Fall goodies!!
Joanne was my exchange partner; and boy, did she nail it or what!! Just look at all this loveliness...
When I opened the package, my mouth started to water...I was greeted by the scent of cinnamon and pumpkin spice, yummy! She also included the prettiest fabrics, some cute ribbon, a tube of pretty beads, a few WDW threads, a sweet CCN pattern that I didn't have, beautiful Fall leaves, a cute Happy Halloween plaque, and some delicious Hot Tamales (love them)...but, the best part of all...see that gorgeous pin pillow? Yep, that one...she made that just for me! Isn't it perfect?? She went with a Threadwork Primitives design, "Enchanted Crow", and I LOVE IT!!! I adore Nan's designs and this has been one I have wanted to stitch for myself for a while now...what a perfect choice. I just love how she finished it too, so cute...and I can leave it out all year since it goes with the colors in my home. Thank you so much Joanne; I will treasure all of my sweet gifts.
I was Cucki's exchange partner and gathered up this bunch of goodies for her...this was my first needlebook finish, but it certainly will not be my last...what a fun way to finish a piece!! I chose a freebie by Brenda at With Thy Needle & Thread...love it, and will be stitchin' my own soon. I went with a selection of Nancy's threads from Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe.
I heard from MartyG that she received the Spooktacular Giveaway 2013 package I sent, and she seemed to be quite happy with the tricks and treats I included...not sure that Marty has a blog, so here are some snaps for your viewing pleasure. I think the cat pillow is a Heart~n~Hand design, but don't quote me on that, LOL!
I didn't get nearly as much Halloween stitching done as I wanted to, but I did get this cute freebie from The Little Stitcher completed...twice!! "Vintage Witch" is a quick and spooky design to stitch up for a Halloween finish. Now, what to do with it??
And then this little beauty arrived from Cross Stitch Felicity. I knew then that I wouldn't be getting any more Halloween stitching done, LOL! "Needleworker" by LHN is just one of Diane's designs that I love...all of her designs are wonderful.
Well, I guess that just about catches us up for the moment. I will be on the road next week to head out to spend Halloween with my little treat of a grand-daughter, Mara...but, I'll be sure to stop by and say Happy Halloween. I hope to have a plethora of snaps to share of my trip...the trick~or~treating, the ghosties and ghoulies, a quick stop at the local stitchin' shop, and my sweet babies! Until then...
